So many internet marketers before have claimed they have earned thousands of dollars doing this or doing that in such a short space of time. <p>The ad must give them a better reason to buy our product or service than he is likely to get from the Salesperson for the competitions goods that Salesman will want to substitute.  It must give him this reason in such undeniable form that he can comprehend without effort, so absolutely that he will believe our reasoning Claims. It must accomplish this in spite of his natural distrust of all Ads statements. <p>Advertisers who uses mere &#8220;General Publicity&#8221; or branding when they might have all that and, in addition, a positive Selling force combined with it is losing 50 percent to 80 per cent of the results they might have had from the same identical media space. Selling tests made on various kinds of Copy and Mediums have proved this for Reason Why, which are the Heart and Soul and Essence of all good Advertising.</p>
<p>The difference in Results from Space in which this direct selling force of &#8220;Reason-Why&#8221; has been used, and in results from similar space filled with &#8220;General Publicity,&#8221; is often more than 60 per cent. Conclusive tests on Copy have clearly proved this, and preceding article cites a vivid example of it from actual experience</p>

<p>The first thing you need to do is ensure you&#8217;re targeting the right audience with your ads. Make your ads as exclusive as possible, including the language they&#8217;re written in (it should be the same one your target audience speaks).</p>
<p>Another important factor is to make sure your keywords are refined as much as possible. One technique for this is to place square brackets around your keywords - [keyword]. This is called an exact match keyword and will ensure your ad only gets displayed when someone types in that exact keyword in Google.</p>
<p>If they search for something that includes your keyword in the phrase but has additional words, your ad won&#8217;t be displayed. This can help reduce your costs for visitors that are not well targeted.</p>
<p>You should always have more than one ad running, performing a split test to see which one gets the best results. Once you know which one gets the best clickthrough and conversion rate, remove the lower producing one and replace it with yet another variation. Always be testing.</p>

<p>What they fail to tell you is the fact that working just 2-3 hours a day is not the norm. In fact few people can perfect this type of regime. There are just too many things to take care of, especially if you are new to the game. In fact no other promotion requires as much micro-management as an Adwords campaign.</p>
<p>Take a moment to consider this. First you will be doing your keyword research by going to Google&#8217;s Databases and finding the popular keywords. You will also compile a list of the keywords that are related to your product and special market. You can do this by using the keywords that you would search for when try to find your product. <p>When you have all your keywords put together you will then start to bid on them. <p>Vigilance, micromanaging and attention to detail can help you avoid some common and costly mistakes of PPC advertising. What are those mistakes? Here are the terrible 10 that are typical to most pay per click campaigns.</p>
<p>Too Many Keywords Per Ad Group</p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to target your ad to be as relevant as possible. Don&#8217;t group all your keywords into one or two ad groups. Break them out. Keep them tight. This gives you more control over ad variables so that you can be as relevant as possible.</p>
<p>Ignoring Negative Keywords</p>
<p>Negative keywords reduce unwanted impressions, and more importantly, unwanted click throughs. However, with increasing priority given to &#8220;quality scores&#8221; and click through rates in the PPC engines, it&#8217;s key to trim the fat from your keyword campaigns. If your company sells &#8220;widget management software&#8221; then be sure that you have keywords like &#8220;-serial&#8221; or &#8220;-free&#8221; assigned as negative keywords (unless, of course, you offer it for free in some manner). You can find good negative keywords in your log files or when you build your lists.</p>
<p>Weak Testing</p>
<p>Split-testing your ads is critical. Even the smallest of changes can boost results. In addition to testing your ad copy&#8217;s &#8220;call to action&#8221; or value statements, every ad has multiple variables to test. Often, however, they can also do just the opposite &#8212; drain your funds with poor results. <p>Ignoring the Many Long-Tail Keywords</p>
